Last Monday we got together at The New York Public Library to make a difference, and I am proud to say: we did. e raised an astonishing US$1.6 million (and counting) , and so I congratulate all of you for making this happen. As a result the BrazilFoundation has the resources to continue its mission of supporting Brazilian charities across the country which are positively affecting whole communities.
Dear friends and supporters of BrazilFoundation,
I was fortunate to have the support of my co-Chair Nizan Guanaes and I thank him for introducing me to an organization that does such amazing work.
I would also like to thank Patricia Lobaccaro and her team at BrazilFoundation , Carlos Souza, Nessia Pope, Carlos Mota, Zeze Calvo and everyone at the Gala Committee who worked so hard to make the evening so memorable.
I cannot stress enough what a huge difference you all made by just being there , but the work continues.
The BrazilFoundation Online Auction is still going strong at CharityBuzz. You still have the opportunity to help by bidding for the wonderful lots that are still available. Bidding closes on Monday September 27th.
Let us not forget that there is still much to do and, above all, that there is no limit to what we can do together.
